I am facing an issue with Uninstalling IIS From windows server 2016, I am facing the error The referenced assembly could not be found. Error: 0x80073701”
Have summarized the efforts taken andCBS logs below. Kindly suggest.

Hence we tried with:

1. sfc /scannow
2. dism online restore health (dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth, dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth, dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth)
3. dism restore health with iso (DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /source:WIM:F:\Sources\install.wim:1 /LimitAccess)

But still IIS removal failing with same error: The referenced assembly could not be found. Error: 0x80073701 on all the four servers.

Below what we find in the CBS logs. (dism showed to check CBS logs).

Actually we also tried installing the 3kb in the cbs logs but even after that i could only see same issue .

Upload a copy of the CBS folder

• Open Windows Explorer and browse to the C:\Windows\Logs folder.
• Right-click on the CBS folder and choose Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.
