Hi

I have a pc that someone clicked on a link the other day i ran Malwarebytes and hit man pro which clear and viruses found.
Not sure if it is related as i hadn't been on this machine for a while and didn't try to access before the virus but i cannot open services or device manager the error attached comes up and i seem to be having issues installing Epson scanner software/drivers too.

SFC runs finds corrupt files but cannot fix them. Can you please help.
This has been ran in safe mode too but still not help.

Kind regards

Marc

Hi and welcome to Sysnative,

Step 1. Download
67139f7e69a58-SFCFix-ico.PNG
SFCFix and save it to your desktop.

Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system.
  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
  • Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the System File Checker and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
Code:
SFC /Scannow

Hi,

Please run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.

DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth
