Try a Firefox theme :) I created my FULL Firefox theme a while ago back when 3.5 was still pretty up to date, then when I was just about finished they hit us with 4, 5, 6, 7... And I just gave up because that was a really damn silly rapid upgrade sequence, I couldn't keep up, my 3.5 theme worked somewhat on 4 by modifying the install.rdf file for the version, but after that things just became completely incompatible, waste of my time. I spent about 2 months on a nice chrome black theme and now almost nobody will use it, so it got discarded a while back. It's otherwise simple, if you have the time though, because it's very time consuming. It's just an .xpi file with the DEFLATE compression method, so all of your files can be imagined as though they are just in a .zip archive, because it's the same base64 compression, just with a finalized file extension change.

Click to expand... Yes, but not in Firefox :wink11a: That's where it becomes a bit more challenging :) You can position things where you want them as well, not only change the images.

It's not really got anything to do with W7 or 8. I'm not overly experienced at wallpapers but here you go. (It's in a 1366x768 res because that's my monitor If you want a 1080 one, just ask)

I think I saw it somewhere at SF. Came across it earlier on another site, remembered I liked it and had a flash of inspiration. It all went from there. I'm quite proud of that wallpaper. :)
