Every now and then my Hp Pavillion crashes and I find no link to anything that seems to trigger it. I ran all the malware scanners and malware boot discs& removed seven Trojans and other assorted crap. I ran scan disk and it said it couldn't repair all errors. long story short I found out I have a corrupt CBS file issue. I see I'm not the first on the forums.I have downloaded the cab file to send you If you can read it and help me fix this thing I would be grateful.
As I said the pc is a HP pavilion desktop with Windows 7 32bit OS upgraded from Vista.
I'll be glad to send anything else you may need. Thanks Tim FitzgeraldView attachment CBS.zip

Hi, Tim.
You must gather more info, such as:
* If you have BSODs, then crash dump files from
Code:
"%SystemDrive%\Windows\MEMORY.DMP"
or
Code:
"%SystemDrive%\Windows\minidump\"
* Run MSINFO32.exe, go to File > Export.
* Run eventvwr.msc and save System log as *.evtx file.
Zip everything up, upload to any online file-hosting service and post link here.

Hi Tim,

In addition to the above, could you run another SFC can please and post your CBS log again? The one you posted doesn't contain a log from a SFC scan.

Tom
