Can you help me please?

Hi,
Yes, sorry about that.
I first posted in the win 8 forum (panicing wanting help) then I read more on the site and then went to the update forum etc.
Can I just ask what do you think may cause these sort of problems in windows? or is it just microsoft???
Thanks

This one is a general corruption, they could happen from bad downloads of a WU file, HDD failure, uninstalling of an old update etc.
