Hi,

Recently I've updated my Windows (May 2019 update) but I wanted to check if system is fine. I ran /sfc scannow command and found out that there are plenty of errors. I tried to run SFCFix but it crashes all again.

SFCFix version 3.0.2.1 by niemiro.
Start time: 2019-07-29 18:17:17.373
Microsoft Windows 10 Build 18362 - amd64
Not using a script file.

SFCFix version 3.0.2.1 by niemiro has encountered an unhandled exception.
Currently storing 0 datablocks.

I ran DISM scan too. Both logs from CBS and DISM folders are attached.

I would be really happy if someone can help me. Thanks!

I can't edit my post, so I'm adding new one, as I receive more errors now. I can't really perform a full sfc scan.

I was thinking about doing Windows Refresh but I'm not sure if it's worth it. Oh, and I forgot to add that I got Windows 10 1903.

Hi there! Yes, please.

I've got SSD Crucial_CT250MX as a system partition and it's in a good shape. SSDLife says 92%.

I can perform more tests but I'm not sure which tool should I use.

Hi!

Unfortunately, that is not a good sign. It may be failing. Please do this:

GSmartControl
Follow the instructions below to check your SMART status with GSmartControl:

  • Download the portable version of GSmartControl and save it on your Desktop;
  • Extract the zip file to your Desktop. Open the folder gsmartcontrol-1.1.3-win64 which should be located on your Desktop and double-click gsmartcontrol.exe to launch the program.
  • Identify your drive in the list (if recognized by the tool), and hover your mouse over it.
  • You should see something called: SMART status. It will either read: Enabled, in which case you should do the following:
  • Double-click on it to bring up its window (usually you'll find your drive by its size or its brand name);
  • Go to the Self-Tests tab, then select Extended Self-test in the Test type drop-down list and click on Execute (this test can take a few hours to complete);
  • Once the test is over, the results will be displayed at the bottom of the window. Please copy and paste these results in your next reply or take a screenshot;
  • Also, go in the Attributes tab and if you have any entries highlighted in red or pink, take a screenshot of the GSmartControl window and attach it in your next reply;
  • Please note: If the SMART Status reads: Unsupported, stop and let me know.

Attributes

There aren't any pink or red entries, but I think it's just better to make a screenshot.

As far as I can tell from the logs, everything was fixed except a known bug which will be patched at a later time by MS. Just in case, please run DISM once again just to make sure all is well.

I ran DISM, no corrupted files detected. Log file attached.

Should I just ignore SFC scan errors?
