I am hoping someone would please help me with this SFC problem and corrupted Firefox issues (see below). Also, when I have more than two (2) FF tabs open, my hard drive 'thrashes' and CPU for FF is over 50%.

Thank you very much in advance !

Have done the uninstall and reinstall of Firefox many times over the last two months, even digging into the registry (somewhat cautiously).

I thought there was some 'fix' (per se) or script to use with the corrupted files message when I ran SFC Fix to resolve this? Sorry if mistaken.
Thanks.

Sure. Usually, I would create a customized script to fix this, but since I have confirmed that the file in question is a part of Firefox, I have to wonder whether removing it would rectify the issue and prove that the issue are not the corrupt files, but that there is a version compatibility issue between FF and vista.
