Tried sfc /scannow it gets to 15% then gives message: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Tried Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth it gets to 83% Error: 0x800f081f

Can anyone assist on repairing to get updates working properly again?

Hi,

Do you have a similar server, if so please run the following command with that server as source. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS logs.
Rich (BB code):
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:\\ServerName\C$\Windows\WinSxS\ /LimitAccess

I tried your suggestion to run dism using a similar server and the command completed successfully. Here is the cbs logs.

Hi,

Great, but please run the following command again because a breakpoint is set and the CBS log does not show the complete result of the fixed items.

Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
Code:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

Rich (BB code):
Operation: Detect and Repair
Operation result: 0x800f081f
Last Successful Step: Entire operation completes.
Total Detected Corruption: 61

This looks much better, here's the next fix for the remaining issues.
