Server 2016 - Cannot install windows updates (Only Defender Antivirus Definitions) and cannot add server roles (0x800f0805)

Hallo all.

I have a Server 2016 Standard instance which is not detecting any updates apart from Defender Antivirus definitions. I also get a 0x800f0805 error when I try to add server roles.

I have tried both "sfc /scannow" and "Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth" and neither have resolved the issue.

I have also run the SFCFix tool.

Can anyone assist?
