Hello Sysnative
Our company acquired another company - and someone had the brilliant idea of importing a virtual server into our vCenter environment.
The foreign server was previously managed by another SCCM setup - and does not seem to play nice with our setup - and hence needs to be manually patched every month.
The problematic server is a server 2016 - build 14393.7969 - it is in a separate VLAN with two other servers that have no issues patching every month.
Our SCCM setup is currently running build 2403
So far I have had no success in finding the root cause for this behavior.
Obviously I have reinstalled the SCCM agent a few times - and been through a lot of logs - but no closer to a solution.
Enclosed is ccmsetup.log and Windowsupdate.log.
The files are password protected as the might contain sensitive information. (sent DM to Sunfish with password)
@Sunfish - has agreed to help me troubleshooting this issue (se post #42 in this thread) (whenever he has some spare time to look at it - we are in no rush at all - so time is not an issue - main goal is to get the server to patch automatically as most of other servers in our environment).
Reach out to me when further information is needed :)
