Apparently it's not the drivers even though he installed them. But his computer crashed playing cyberpunk 2077 and helldiver2, could be the problem. Post #46 had 8 problems of the Windows Update Failure 3 (WindowsWcpOtherFailure3) associated with windows update.Hey, I'm a friend of Keciak, and have been following this situation from the start (I actually recommended him to ask for help here because I've always found great help here).
I have to admit I am baffled, because these kinds of issues in my experience are 95% of the times something hardware related, but I think the only component Keciak hasn't changed, at this point, is his case.
He changed Motherboard, CPU, changed RAM 3 times, tried 2 different NVMEs, used 2 different USB sticks to install Windows.... And probably more that I just don't know or don't remember.
So, all this makes it seem software related, but I've never seen a PC struggle so hard with drivers on a fresh installation. I've always had my pc install automatically everything it needed (sometimes some things it didn't, like bloatware from the manufacturers of my MOBO or GPU).
Then again, he's had these crashed while installing Windows as well, so that would make me think it's not even drivers related, but either something bad with the motherboard, maybe a problem with the BIOS, or some problematic settings.
This is my reasoning, but I'm not an expert. Far from it. So far, reading the thread, it looks to me like some of you guys seem convinced it's a drivers issue. Could I ask why that is?
That said, I know that Keciak did a ram test, and it came out clear. Thinking outside the box, what else could the problem be? A missing screw on the mobo? A faulty connector somewhere? Some grounding issue with the case? Has anyone of you ever heard of similar issues?
Thank you for your time, and sorry if my questions might be dumb: I am trying to learn by asking questions to people I regard as more expert than me, so please don't clown on me too hard![]()
Your motherboard is faulty. In your post #43 you stated " Literally my entire motherboard stops being responsive "I few more informations as the investigation is ongoing. It's something I completely disregarded so far as I bought a second set of ram and those were brand new but:
My motherboard whenever it crashes, the ram Diod is flashing bright orange/yellow light marking that the ram isn't working. lets call our sticks A2 and B2.
I tried:
A2 in A2 slot and B2 in B2 slot : crashes
I tried B2 in A2 slot: crashes
I tried A2 in A2 slot: crashes way less i would say?
I orderded another set of ram and I'll be testing it in 2 days. Quite sad that the memtest86 didnt show anything, but i also realized that on B2 ram stick I had unstable system as well and at a certain point when both rams were in, the B2 ram wans't working.
Kind regards,
Patryk Ketsitzis
Did you do 8 passes with memtest86 on the ram?I have very low temperatures generally. Then when my pc crashes, all the ventilators keep running, the yellow ram diod is flashing. I kind of join Ubuysa there where I think there is a real issue in communication between the motherboard and the ram. I'm ordering another set of ram, and if this doesn't work, I'm going to swap the motherboard
There are several reasons this LED light might be activated. It could be due to RAM modules not being inserted correctly or a simple power supply issue. Sometimes, it might even indicate compatibility problems or outdated BIOS settings. Knowing these causes can help you troubleshoot effectively.the yellow ram diod is flashing.
Thanks for your answer, and sorry for the delay.Apparently it's not the drivers even though he installed them. But his computer crashed playing cyberpunk 2077 and helldiver2, could be the problem. If we suspect the graphics card at all it is much wiser to remove it completely and uninstall the driver (via DDU).
Another Sysnative data collection app run and an upload of the new output would be useful.
All ram he buys has passed tests, but @Keciak is saddend that ram passed the tests <> In Post # 53, he states "Quite sad that the memtest86 didnt show anything" In the same post he states "I orderded another set of ram", seems to me he wants the ram to fail the tests.which may be RAM frequencies/latency not working properly with his CPU
