  • A brief description of your problem (but you can also include the steps you tried)
  • Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort1, was issued. im plagued by this error. whenever it happens my pc black screens and freezes. I can only unlock it by : turning the PSU off, turn it back. my pc immediately restarts with diod on motherboard red for CPU. I restart by using the power button - diod red on motherboard again. second restart and at this point the pc is back to usable- for how long it is very random I had a period of 10 hours yesterday working perfectly and today 2 restarts in 2 days.
I tried:

First of all we need to change "AHCI Link Power Management" which is a hidden setting on power management. Open up registry editor and change the following settings.
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\0012ee47-9041-4b5d-9b77-535fba8b1442\0b2d69d7-a2a1-449c-9680-f91c70521c60
Change attributes from 1 to 2
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\0012ee47-9041-4b5d-9b77-535fba8b1442\dab60367-53fe-4fbc-825e-521d069d2456
And again change Attributes from 1 to 2.
Now go to Control Panel -> System and Security -> Power Options click on "Change Plan Settings" and then click on "Change advanced Power settings".
Now under "Hard disk" you should have AHCI Link Power Management - HIPM/DIPM and AHCI Link Power Management - Adaptive options.
Change "AHCI Link power management" To active, which means there is no power management for AHCI and finally change Adaptive to 0 milliseconds (Although if you enabled "active" this option has no effect).
Finally under "PCI Express" Change "Link State Power management" to OFF.
I also turned off in the "hard disk" setting - turn of hard disk after: never
I did download the xraid2 utility and updated my main samsung drive to setting in bios today and the error stills persists.

I just installed the amd chipset drivers but when booting up my pc this error shows up again.
I'm also getting several errors of this type when booting up my pc

Thanks. I'm gonna have a look in the morning if I'm able to install the drivers. Any advices to what device look at? I believe it is related to my hard drive, but I might be mistaken

I really worry when people start troubleshooting by implementing registry hacks. From where did you get the advice to do that - and make those other config changes?

Those devices missing drivers look to be chipset related to me. Open Device Manager and post a screenshot of that window.

Sorry forgot to quote you

You didn't answer @ubuysa, question: I really worry when people start troubleshooting by implementing registry hacks.

i attached a link with the first screenshot on the guide how to fix my issue. please see here 1000002077.webp

@ubuysa, didn't tell you to seek out solutions on the web and try to fix it your self.
Also pls remember the rules of this forum, to be nice and gentle to other people. You're getting passive aggressive cause you didn't read my answer properly and because you cannot read that I'm supposed to provide all the things I tried before addressing this forum and generating the zip file with my pc data.

Which I all did.

So with all due respect, please let's be nice to each other :)

@ET_Explorer please read previous posts carefully before responding. @Keciak did inform us of the website the mentioned registry changes in the first posts were from and said these registry changes were done BEFORE coming to us.

Also @Keciak, no need to quote someone's post that's just above your own post, unless you want to respond to a specific portion. Ubuysa should receive notifications about new posts in this thread whether you do quote a post or not :-)

Getting back to the Device Manager output, there are several devices listed there that are missing drivers. You need to sort those out before doing anything else. From that Device Manager output, and the list of problem devices that were referenced in post #4, it's clear that you are missing some important drivers.

I understand the desire to help yourself, I also understand the urge to implement 'solutions' that you found on the web, but until you get all the correct drivers installed anything else you try is likely wasted effort.

Hi Ubuysa. This is where I'm coming to you for help. I tried everything to install them but this seems to be an impossible task to find them. I updated the bios before running the pc for the first time and I installed the AMD chipset drivers for windows 10. I cannot find anything else...

Thanks ET explorer.

Network controller was easy to install, raid controller is a harsh matter and it doesn't have an installator built in.

I decided to call the informatic services nearby my place and they told me to try with another PSU because with everything I have already done and swapped within hardware since I started getting those issues, it seems the PSU might be unstable and cause those crashes on my motherboard.

Going to receive one on Friday and I will let you know how does it go (my new PSU was doing strange noises from the beginning that I'm not used to hear with psu's in general like popping noises)
