Well, I had to look up Qubes to see what it is. Never heard of it before.
I avoid Lenovo products because they have a long and more significantly, a recurring history of planting malware and spyware on their product.
I would normally pick ASUS over HP but according to the specs I can find for that ASUS, it looks like it supports 4GB of RAM and cannot be upgraded. So through that process of elimination, I would go for the HP. That said, because one of the primary purposes of operating systems is to facilitate communications between all the various hardware components of a computer, you might ask the folks at the Qubes website.
Also, when requesting advice on purchases, it is always best to include your budget.
