[QUOTE="jayrod12, post: 53104, member: 1907"] I am well aware it is not mandatory however considering the help you guys (and girls) dole out the least people could do is throw some money your way. As Corrine said computer help is expensive and there are not many people that could fix what you guys do here. I was really just curious as to what is the current monthly cost of the website as it is run because I have no clue. Is it $30 a month? $100? $500? My comment about $1 donations, I understand all money adds up but honestly if all you can give is $1 then you probably need it more than this website. Call it rude but if you can't at least fork out $5-10 then I don't think it's even worth it. Consider the paypal fee, on $1 it's 33% total, on $5 its 9%, on $10 its 6%. So if you donate $5 instead of $1 the site itself gets 6.8 times the amount of money from paypal. I never said $100 wasn't a reasonable amount to donate. I said that no one will donate $100. with the (probably) caveat. You can't seriously think I mean absolutely no one but in general most people I know don't have the $100 to donate. If I had $1000 to donate I would, but I don't so I can't. In the end, my goal of this thread was to find out how much this website costs a year (total) including software licensing etc. To me that would help dictate what I feel is a reasonable donation.
