Re: BSOD Clock interrupt, Occurs only while playing BF4

Hi, i have a similar problem, since I started playing BF4, I thought my PC was to slow for the game, so I bought some more RAM... Now the PC is fast enough, but I have Blue Screens all the time when playing BF4, like every hour or so...

My PC :
- ASROCK P55 PRO motherboard
- I5 750 2,6Ghz (I previously had an overclock to 3,6Ghz but I stopped it when I thought that might be the problem, but it wasn't)
- GeForce 560 GTX TI 2go
- 2x2 gigs + 2x4 gigs of RAM (I might have a problem here, my old ram seems to be at 667MHz standard and my new one at 800MHz

You can find attached some screens of my config, and error logs I could find...

I am quite desperate, I really home to find a way to get work properly :(

Here are some screens of my set up, thanks for your help :)

Re: BSOD Clock interrupt, Occurs only while playing BF4

Hi,

The attached DMP file is of the SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3b)bug check.

This indicates that an exception happened while executing a routine that transitions from non-privileged code to privileged code.

This error has been linked to excessive paged pool usage and may occur due to user-mode graphics drivers crossing over and passing bad data to the kernel code.

-- Ensure you have the latest video card drivers. If you are already on the latest video card drivers, uninstall and install a version or a few versions behind the latest to ensure it's not a latest driver only issue. If you have already experimented with the latest video card driver and many previous versions, please give the beta driver for your card a try.

1. Remove and replace Avira with Microsoft Security Essentials for temporary troubleshooting purposes:

Avira removal - How do I uninstall my Avira product?

MSE - Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows

2. sptd.sys is listed and loaded in your modules list; SCSI Pass Through Direct Host - Daemon Tools (known BSOD issues with Win 7 and 8). Please remove it ASAP with the uninstaller tool - DuplexSecure - Downloads

3. UltraMonUtility.sys - Thu Nov 13 20:10:30 2008

^^ UltraMon multi-monitor driver. UltraMon is known to cause conflicts and issues, so I'd remove it for temporary troubleshooting purposes.

4. Update to Service Pack 1 ASAP: Learn how to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)

Patrick

Hi,

I did all you said except this f***** Windows Update that I tried to do all day and it failed all the time...(And it takes 3 reboots every time to figure out it's not working) The game is still crashing and god... I hate microsoft and thouse updates that never work....

I am Rage formating my system partition and I will try to do all you said all over again, hoping on a fresh system it's going to work better

My pleasure, glad to hear. Keep me updated! If you don't crash for a few days, come back and let me know and we'll consider this solved.
