Hi,
I've got a problem on my server (Windows Server 2012 R2) where it seems that when I attempt to install any updates (Downloading them seems fine), I get a few errors from the CBS.log.
The main one is this: [HRESULT = 0x8007371b - ERROR_SXS_TRANSACTION_CLOSURE_INCOMPLETE]
If I attempt to remove an update which is already installed, I get this: [HRESULT = 0x80073712 - ERROR_SXS_COMPONENT_STORE_CORRUPT] and/or [HRESULT = 0x80073701 - ERROR_SXS_ASSEMBLY_MISSING]
I've uploaded the cbs.log to this thread.
There was a lot of corruption on the image which was showing through a dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth & /scanhealth however I've managed to get this now so that it doesn't show any active corruption anymore but is still giving me grief. Originally, there were over 200 CSI Payloads Corrupt.
sfc /scannow never showed any corruption too even while dism was originally stating that there was.
I suspect registry corruption as I had already fixed some corruption on the image already due to it not being able to open the Server Manager.
Would someone be able to take a look at this for me please I've tried everything I can think of and am at a dead end now.
Thanks!
Tom
