The deaths, injuries, and losses of a family's hard work after spending a lifetime building up a business together only to have it destroyed by a Hurricane is tragic and will take generations to recover from.
But I could not resist posting this picture after my young great-nephew pointed out the activity of a guy in a residential area - and of course the street name to me.
Good luck to those who have to rebuild after the recent Hurricanes. My area has been through unprecedented rain followed by expected flooding along with high winds and the usual beach erosion. Sinkholes have materialized in roads and yards and some bridges have fallen. But all has been very mild compared to [Hurricane] Superstorm Sandy in 2012 when water from the Atlantic Ocean surged many miles inland destroying every home in many coastal cities.
