I have attached the log file thingy...also

· Age of system (hardware) - I have owned the system since Monday
· Pre installed

· CPU Intel Core i5 2.50ghz
· Video Card Nvidia Geforce 840M
· MotherBoard Laptop
· Power Supply - Laptop

· System Manufacturer HP
· Exact model number HP ENVY TouchSmart 15-j184sa

· Laptop

I have 12gb of Ram, one 4gb that came as standard and 8 that i bought separately.


Any idead will be gratefully received.

Files show that Windows was installed September 2014.

I therefore hope that the system is not new?

Assuming you are the 2nd owner, I would recommend that you reinstall Windows before going any further -

You don't really know what the former owner left behind for you on that system.

Given the BSODs - any chance of returning the system?
