PC Freezes and Fan Grinding

I built my own PC a few years ago and lately, the PC has been either freezing completely with no responsiveness or shuts down completely on its own. When I restart, occasionally a grinding sound comes from one of the fans. Thanks in advance for the help.

Regarding the fans , check if any cables are in the way. It already happened to me that my case fan wires were touching the CPU fan, maybe you have a similar issue?
The freezing is outside of my expertise, sorry about that.

The freezing may have something to do with the c: drive.
