Hello everyone

I need help with a strange error.... I have recently updated my Windows 10 32bit version to the 64bit version...
All seems Ok, except when I try to set a scanned destination folder using the Quick Utility Toolbox that is installed with drivers for the Canon MB2140 printer.
When I try this I get a warning that windows 10 encountered an error, and will restart the PC in one minute.

How do I start to troubleshoot this? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Canon software, I have run SFC /scannow .
I was given at some stage a warning that the recycle bin on the D: drive was corrupt - perhaps this is a clue?

Don.

Is the problem solved? Some printers have there own log files but since Canon's don't, they merely throw an error code.

Nope. Not solved. Think there may be a corruption on the drive. Trying to set the destination to D:\scanned —- or this may be an ownership issue. I don’t know that this has a lot to do with the printer itself…
