OEM + Microsoft Windows Replacement Media (OS DVDs)

OEM Replacement Media

Do you need Windows disc(s) for your system?

If Windows came pre-installed, you can order OEM (System Manufacturer) replacement media - cost is usually ~ $20 - $30 (prices do vary by OEM)

Windows or Office Full Retail Versions - contact Microsoft - How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs, and replace product manuals

If you know of other OEMs, please post and they will be added.

Thanks. . .

John a lot of those links are no longer any good.

Last I checked Dell no longer supplies discs for unsupported OS's

Emachines/Gateway have little if any support on the Acer site.

Quick sidebar with the Dell systems: Just a few years ago, using non-OEM media on Dell systems was a painful, non-recommended process. Now, if you reinstall Windows 10 using Microsoft's Media Creation Tool (what we previously would have called the retail version), doing a clean install keeping nothing, it will just pick up the OEM key automatically. A welcome relief.

Edit: I should add one proviso - I can't vouch that this will work with pre-2013 hardware. It may work, but I haven't tested it yet.
