Select Download updates but let me choose whether to install them. Click OK. Reboot the machine. Check Windows Updates manually and report the result first. Do not install updates yet.

Type msconfig and press Enter to open 'System Configuration'. Open the tab Services. At the bottom, put a checkmark at "Hide all Microsoft services". Click Disable all. Restart the machine. Check Windows Update again and report the result.

Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop. Right-click on FRST64.exe and select "Run as administrator". Press the Fix button. The tool will now process fixlist.txt. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from. Post the logfile Fixlog.txt as attachment in your next reply.
