[SOLVED] No updates can be found - 800F080D

Hi guys,

I have a win 7 64 -- and I noticed that I haven´t had any windows updates since a really really long time ago (july 2014). I checked today and was shocked, but I´m seeing now the error 800F080D -- no updates can be found.

SFCFix says SUMMARY: No corruptions were detected.
I´ve run sfc /scannow and attached the logs here.

I´d be very grateful for your help.

Hi,

quick update. I installed the [FONT=wf_segoe-ui_light]System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 (KB947821)[/FONT]
Download System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 (KB947821) [October 2014] from Official Microsoft Download Center
manually and this was successful, some updates were installed

However, when I try to open windows update and search for updates, I still get the same error, 800F080D.

SFC Fix now sees corruption, log below.
I also re-ran sfc /scannow. CBS file is huge and I´m uploading it following the process here https://www.sysnative.com/forums/windows-update/4736-windows-update-forum-posting-instructions.html

Hi guys,

after numerous manual window updates (deinstalling the versions I have, downloading from the webpage and reinstalling), and using MicrosoftFixit50123, it seems to be working now.
70 windows updates found. I´m now downloading them.

Will close the thread and let you know if I have any more issues :)
