New Bing Rewards Sweepstakes Run Through May 31st

Microsoft has two new Bing Rewards Sweepstakes rolling out for users to take advantage of, promising new and appealing prizes.

The new promotions have already kicked off, and will run until May 31st, the Redmond-based company announced.

One of these sweepstakes will provide uses with the possibility to win an Xbox 360 Prize Pack & Kinect Star Wars.

“The lucky winner will become the proud new owner of the highly anticipated Xbox 360 Limited Edition Kinect Star Wars Bundle, which includes a custom R2-D2-themed Xbox 360 console, white Kinect Sensor and a C-3PO-themed wireless controller,” Microsoft explains.

If you use Bing as your search engine, Bing Rewards does indeed pay off. I've been earning rewards with Bing for a year. I donated some "rewards" points and used some to enter sweepstakes. The best part, however, was when I was making a purchase on Amazon. I cashed in Bing Rewards for four $5 Amazon gift cards. The $20 off my purchase was like a gift from Bing for doing what I would do anyway.

It must be related to VAT (value-added-tax) and similar restrictions the preclude making Bing Rewards available in other countries.
