My laptop can't completely shut down.

I recently purchased a new Asus laptop (I do not have a installation disc because it came pre-installed with windows 8), but I recently started noticing that the laptop won't properly shut down, and sometimes the laptop would get locked by something called coloruservices.exe, and other times after the shutting down screen disappears the laptop just won't shut down.
So I did SFC /SCANNOW in command promt.
