My computer bsod multiple times a day for seemingly no reason. It can be under stress or idle for the bsod to occur. I have had this problem since I built it about three weeks ago and have been trying to fix it ever since then. I have ran a chkdsk multiple times and switched ram slots and changed cooling settings and none of this has helped. I believe I attached the file I needed to. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've tried doing this a number of times however it has never worked. After it crashes no dump file is created whether it is an automatic dump or a kernel dump. I will try to turn it on again. Also do i run the program right after the crash?
 
Yes, you can. How does the blue screen appear, at what stage does the physical memory dump stop?
 
Essentially I will be playing a game or the computer will be idle then it will say fatal error and the name of an application, freeze and then the bsod pops up for like one second it restarts and boots to bios.

this is a example of when the message pops up right before it crashes. It isn’t just razer central that causes these errors, it can be any program or background program. Most times a message won’t even pop up and it will just bsod.

Please do the following:

GSmartControl
Follow the instructions below to check your SMART status with GSmartControl:


  • Download the portable version of GSmartControl and save it on your Desktop;
  • Extract the zip file to your Desktop. Open the folder gsmartcontrol-1.1.3-win64 which should be located on your Desktop and double-click gsmartcontrol.exe to launch the program.
  • Identify your drive in the list (if recognized by the tool), and hover your mouse over it.
  • You should see something called: SMART status. It will either read: Enabled, in which case you should do the following:
  • Double-click on it to bring up its window (usually you'll find your drive by its size or its brand name);
  • Go to the Self-Tests tab, then select Extended Self-test in the Test type drop-down list and click on Execute (this test can take a few hours to complete);
  • Once the test is over, the results will be displayed at the bottom of the window. Please copy and paste these results in your next reply or take a screenshot;
  • Also, go in the Attributes tab and if you have any entries highlighted in red or pink, take a screenshot of the GSmartControl window and attach it in your next reply;
  • Please note: If the SMART Status reads: Unsupported, stop and let me know.

My pc crashed 45 mins into the test, I don’t know if I will be able to run the full test but I will try again.
 
I also ran the short self test which completed without an error just in case that would find anything.

Send crash dumps from C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports\WATCHDOG
 
That folder doesn't pop up when i copy that into the search bar, there is a C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports however it only has an empty folder named USBxHCI
 
I was reading an article about I/O error status 0xc000000e which I sometimes get before it crashes and it said to go into device manager look for devices with a yellow exclamation mark as they can sometimes cause crashes and when I went into device manager I found 3 however I don't know how to update their drivers, when I do the automatic online search nothing comes up.

Right click on these devices with an exclamation mark, select "Properties", go to the "Details" tab and select "Device Instance Path" as the property. Of course, then you search for these IDs on Google
