Mother is watching. . .

Well, thank goodness and a warm welcome to Beaches368! That means I no longer need to make sure you're behaving yourself. Please don't forget to tell Chase that I'm off the hook for "Mom duties" here.

Who do I listen to? :smile9:

:thud: No rest for the weary.

As Wrench97 pointed out, I'm not off the hook. I guess you still need to listen to me here and your Mom every place else! ;)

Mom is leaving for Denmark this week, so she left Corrine in charge.

EDIT:

I have to figure what mom meant....

Corrine - mom usually drives here to make breakfast, then returns for lunch, then dinner. It's only a 142 mile round trip for her each time.

I guess you're running a little late?

Well, John, your Mom and I talked it over and decided that you are old enough to at least use the toaster and microwave without supervision. So guess what? You're on your own, buddy.

:hysterical:

Don't bet on the microwave.... we've gone through 3 of them...

The kids seem not to understand you need water when nuking ramen noodles.

They boil them.... usually 30++ minutes.

The first time they exploded, I thought we were under heavy fire attack (exploding eggs sound like gunshots).

No kidding. Funny as hell now when thinking back.

Mom says hello from Russia along with my sister & brother-in-law.

They left my sister's home in Copenhagen on Friday.

Dad is likely watching via KeyHole. :grin1:

I always find it funny when people add 'noodles' to 'Ramen noodles' as they do with Sahara 'desert', you're repeating the same word! Ramen is automatically noodles, as Sahara already means desert, it's pointless to say Ramen noodles! By the way, how hard is it to make ramen? I just use the kettle to boil water, put my instant soup in a bowl add the water and it's ready, they should do that to avoid the issues.

Anyway I hope your mother enjoys your work here and her stay, I'm sure she's a wonderful person.

I didn't know about "'Ramen". . . never heard of them until the 1st microwave went up in flames!
