After successfully migrating 4 Systems (Not without problems, but I was able to find solutions).
Of course the most important system brings me to my limit.
At the very end of processing the updates it fails und performs a rollback.
Hereby attached cbs.zip and SFCFix.txt I hope they are suitable to solve this problem.
Sorry to keep you busy and thanks for your support!

Edit: Forgot to add some information. Since it has been released KB453734 cannot be installed. 3 KB are Required for this Update KB4490628, KB4474419, are installed. KB45331786 cannot be installed. I was so far not able to find the cause.

Hi,

How are you upgrading to Windows 10? did you use a flash drive/DVD containing the Windows 10 installation files or you upgrade directly by running the Microsoft tool?

Hi SleepyDude,

you look not really sleepy on the picture... ;)
I've started from an USB Stick the MediaCreationTool and selected to update the local System.
It was running for ages and while processing the updates it stopped and performed a rollback.
Had problems already before maintaining the Windows updates before updating to win 10.
I've tried hard to solve it, but no success.

Hope this helps. Ket me know if you need more information.

Thanks for your support!

Cheers, Ernie

Hi SleepyDude,

you look not really sleepy on the picture... ;)

The picture was taken just after wake up :-)

I would first create the flash drive with the Windows 10 installation files on it, transfer the MediaCreationTool to the PC and run it choose the option to Create Installation media... to put the install files on the flash drive. Make sure the flash drive doesn't contain any data because it will be formatted!

To upgrade locate the Setup on the flash drive and execute, make sure you disconnect the computer from the internet during the upgrade.

If you have any 3rd party Antivirus installed including Microsoft Security Essentials remove it before doing the upgrade.

Hello again,

I did as you directed. Same result :-((
Created new USB Stick. Deinstalled Avira, Disabled Internet access. Started update.
At the very end, rollback again and the following information:
0x8007001F – 0x20006 Error in Phase SAFE_OS REPLICATE_OC
Any suggestions?

Hi,

It's Ernie again, sorry.
At the beginning running .NET Framework Repair Tool it suggested to install missing updates and try to reinstall
failed updates.
Both did not change anything.
So I ran the final analysis. Please see the results in the attached file.
The file CBS.log is too large to upload. I know there there are directions how to upload
large files.
But, it seems that I am too stupid to find the again.
A hint is very welcome.

Hi,,

Yes I know KB4535102 updates several versions of .Net Framework depending on the versions installed. Because Windows Update fails to install the update we need to install one by one to see if we can find the one that is giving troubles.

What I need you to do is to confirm if Windows Update continues to fail when installing only this update.

Hi,

It seems, that I picked the wrong version of KB4535102. I tried to install all of the 6 listed updated.
Only KB4532941 was successful.
After that, I started again Windowsupdate. No change still updates cannot be installed.
See attached file.

Ok, lets hold on the .net for now and work on the other update.

Download and install kb4534310
http://download.windowsupdate.com/c..._4dc78a6eeb14e2eac1ede7381f4a93658c8e2cdc.msu

If it fails to install collect the CBS.log for me.

Locate the log c:\Windows\logs\cbs\CBS.log copy the file to the Desktop, Zip it and attach to your post.

Note: If the file is too big to attach please upload it to a service like Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive or upload to SendSpace and just provide the link for the file here.
