The users will be required to register at the Windows Upgrade Offer web site by February 28, 2013.

Now instead of buying Windows 8, what if you had Vista? Buy Windows 7 during this time period and you have not only Windows 7, but Windows 8 now as well because of this upgrade :)

Windows 8 at the price of the already reduced (over time) Windows 7 OS.
