Merge Two Local Administrator Accounts

In rebuilding my computer I somehow created two local accounts, pmxxxxx and HP. Program files seems to have been loaded into either oe of these accounts. When I logon on, I need to choose which user id to utilize. My screen saver also turns off after an indeterminite period of time with a blank screen and requires me to ESC and log into the system again without a reboot. How do I merge user HP into user pmxxxx. pmxxxx is associated with my Microsoft Onedrive cloud storage. If there are duplicate files in the copy which should be kept or overwritten as a general rule.

You can copy user profile from one account to another user account by typing sysdm.cpl into Run box or Start Menu.

From opened System Properties dialog box, click Advanced --> User Profiles and select the user account you want to copy and click Copy To button.

I looked at a variety of web sites on sysdm.cpl (How to Update, Download, and Fix Sysdm.cpl, sysdm.cpl - What is sysdm.cpl?, How to Open the Classic “System” Control Panel on Windows 10, How To Restore Windows 10 To An Earlier Date). None of these sites provide any examples of what I want to achieve or details on how to do it.. My current system restores would have both user id's so a restore would not solve the problem. are ther any reference sources with example or further details on this approach?

All sysdm.cpl does, is open your System properties via the Control Panel.

Once your System properties opens, follow Freebooter's advice below.

From opened System Properties dialog box, click Advanced --> User Profiles and select the user account you want to copy and click Copy To button.

Again, Make sure you have a valid backup of your drive (not a restore point)
