Hi,
Is there anyway I can I can Excel functions such as page setup, margins and save to PDF while prints spooler service is off?
it seems to rely on print spooler.
I know of a way to do this, but want to know if I can do it a different way.
I can have a script look for Winword.exe and excel.exe and when those items have open processes, then allow the print spooler to be on. Not ideal, as if the process is open all day it will stay on all day.
I noticed that on word, print spooler can be off, I can still change page margins, page setup, etc.
Wonder why I cant do it on excel?
I also tried printer isolate mode. Doesn't really help.
Let me know if you have any ideas.
