[SOLVED] KB4474419 can't be installed on Windows 7 64bit

When trying to install KB4474419 it says it installed and requires a reboot. When shutting down it goes to 30%, then after startup it goes straight to Startup Repair. The repair suceeds automatically and shows the "hal.dll is corrupted" as the root cause found, then launches the system and obviously update is not installed. But previously i installed another SHA-2 KB4490628 update without any problems.

1.
sfc /scannow has shown this:
Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
2.
i installed System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB947821) succesfully and restarted my pc.

SFCFix version 3.0.2.1 by niemiro.

Hello and welcome,

Start the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) again.
On completion, attach the logfile C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log to your next reply.
 
Weird, the log shows the same corruptions and fixes as the log from 2 day ago.
Restart the machine.
Check Windows Update again.
If it fails, copy the file c:\Windows\Logs\CBS\cbs.log to your desktop, zip the file on your desktop and attach it to your next reply.
 
And again the system failed to install kb4474419, went to 30% of completion and rebooted straight into Windows recovery.... nothing new

Do you have a drive/station T: ?
Disconnect all drives that are not needed, i.e. usb-sticks, external drives, etc.

Attach the file C:\Windows\INF\setupapi.dev.log to your next reply.
 
No i don't have any visible drive or station named (T:) . Or at least i don't think so.
I have only an SSD for my system and HDD for my user data. No usb-sticks currently connected.

And also... i don't know if this helps but i get bluescreens(with automatic reboot) everytime i try to play any videogame. It always happens approximately after 10-15 minutes of active playing. (IF YOU THINK THIS IS UNRELATED TO THE MAIN PROBLEM THEN PLEASE IGNORE IT :) )

FRST Scan:
  1. Download the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop:
    64-bit: Downloading Farbar Recovery Scan Tool
  2. Right-click to run the tool as administrator. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  3. Note: Ensure that the Addition.txt check box is checked at the bottom of the form within the Optional Scan area.
  4. Press the Scan button.
  5. Please wait for the tool to finish. It will produce two logfiles called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should be the desktop)
  6. Post the logfiles FRST.txt and Addition.txt as attachment in your next reply.
 
Step 1:
Uninstall the following programs:
- Java 8 Update 192 (64-bit)
- Java 8 Update 192
- Java 8 Update 201 (64-bit)
- Mozilla Firefox (1.0)
Restart the machine.

Step 2:
ChkDsk Scan
  • Click on Start - All programs - Accessories.
  • Rightclick on Command-prompt and select Run as administrator.
  • When command prompt opens, typ chkdsk into it, then press enter.
  • Wait for this to complete.
  • Download ListChkdskResult.exe by SleepyDude and save it on your desktop.
  • Rightclick

    ListChkdskResult.exe and select Run as administrator. Notepad will open the file ListChkdskResult.txt on completion. (The file ListChkdskResult.txt can be found on your desktop.)
  • Copy and paste its content in your next reply.
 
I completed Step 1.

I completed Step 2. BUT there is a little problem - second half of the ListChkdskResult.txt is in Russian language even tho i've set Windows language to English. I think you could run it through google translate, if not please tell me how to fix the language.
