[SOLVED] KB3037574 fails to install

Hello,
I have a quite similar problem to solve on a Win 7 notebook and found this thread via google. Here, KB3037574 does not install. This Update ist from May 2015, too. I also tried when virus scanner was disabled, it does not change things.

I've already tried sfcfix and the checkSUR.log reads as follows:

Here (finally, sorry!) comes the missing information:

The "similar problem" references to this thread. I also get the Windows Update error code 800B0100, while in Windows Features everything's blank.

I have a notebook which does not install the update with KB3037574. Which packages are corrupted can be seen in the checkSur.log above. Other updates can be installed without a problem.

My name is Aura and I'll be assisting you with your issue, under Go The Power's supervision (like he explained already). We'll start by fixing the errors you have in your SURT log. Follow the instructions below please.

System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) - Fix
Follow the instructions below to fix the errors reported by the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT);

Download the attached archive file, Packs.zip and save it on your Desktop;
Once it's downloaded, right-click on it and select Extract All...;
Check the Show extracted files when complete checkbox, and click on Extract;
On completion, a folder will open with two folders inside it, Manifests and Packages;
- Copy and paste the files of the Manifests folder inside C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\winsxs\Manifests
- Copy and paste the files of the Packages folder inside C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\servicing\Packages
Run the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) again;
On completion, attach the log located at C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log in your next reply;

SFCFix script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
Go to your desktop and right click on the background -> Select New -> Text Document -> Name this file SFCFixScript.txt.

Open up SFCFixScript.txt and copy all of the following text inside the code box below and paste it into SFCFixScript.txt.

Click on File -> Save. Close out of SFCFixScript.txt.
Save any open documents and close all open windows.
On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFixScript.txt.
Drag the file SFCFixScript.txt onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
SFCFix will now process the script.
Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please - put [CODE][/CODE] tags around the log to break up the text.

Can you please run SURT again and upload a new CheckSur.log file?
