A few months ago I ran into complications relating to windows Update trying (and failing) to upgrade to Windows 10. I didn't want to upgrade to 10 at the time and eventually uninstalled and hid update KB3035583 and, under the guidance of a Sysnative Admin, made a slight change to the WU registry to prevent it installing again.
Recently, KB3035583 suddenly reappeared in Windows Update listed as "Important" and began downloading itself. I hid it again, but have read that even if you hide it, Windows Update will download a slightly different version of the patch. I noticed I also have KB2952664 installed, which others have said should be uninstalled if you don't want to upgrade to 10. Is it really necessary to uninstall every Windows 10 related patch - including the "Telemetry" ones - to prevent a future upgrade, or is it okay to continue patching the remaining updates as long as KB3035583 isn't present?
Thanks in advance.
