Hi All,

Microsoftupdate KB3000850 is refusing to install on my Windows 8.1 ProPC. All other updates are installed fine.

I've tried using windows update, and also manually downloading the update from MS and installing standalone. It always fails on 8% installed whilst rebooting, and then rolls back changes.

I've done SFC/SCANNOW, this finds issues every time but says it cannot solve them.

Any help much appreciated.

In fact, I noticed from this thread that it might have something to do Kodak related? It just so happens I used to have a Kodak printer and have the drivers, etc installed on this machine:

Thank you for any help!

Wow. I did as suggested in the aforementioned thread, created the directories and copied the files, and it WORKED.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I've been suffering with mandatory reboots taking ~15 mins with installation/rollbacks since NOVEMBER. This is the first clean boot I've had in 8 months.

Thank you so much.
