Title says it all. SFCFix DISM stage said it could not locate files, then the sfcfix log says no problems. Attached log + CBS folder.
Thanks in advance.

Re: KB3000850 install rollback, Error 80246013, tried WinUpdt Reset & Secure Boot Off

Any antivirus software installed?

Re: KB3000850 install rollback, Error 80246013, tried WinUpdt Reset & Secure Boot Off

Webroot, Malwarebytes.

Re: KB3000850 install rollback, Error 80246013, tried WinUpdt Reset & Secure Boot Off

Try disabling both first, then follow the instructions here: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.
With the system configured for clean boot and both antivirus products disabled, run Windows Update, click 'check for updates' then install any available updates when the update check completes.

From the KB3000850 page:
  • You receive a 0x800f0922 or 0x80070005 error message when you try to install this update

    Symptoms
Assume that you have either of the following configurations:
    • You have a Windows Server 2012 R2 server that is running on hardware that has UEFI that has Secure Boot enabled.
    • You have a Windows Server 2012 R2-based Hyper-V host that is running, and you are running a Generation 2 virtual machine guest that uses UEFI firmware support and that has the Secure Boot option enabled. Additionally, the guest virtual machine is running Windows Server 2012 R2.
In these configurations, update 3000850 may not be installed, and you receive a 0x800f0922 or 0x80070005 error message.

    Solution
To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
    1. Install the updated servicing stack update 2975061, and then restart the computer.
    2. Try to reinstall this update.

Download and install this (KB2975061): Error 0x80070005 or 0x800f0922 when you install an update in Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2

"Already installed on this computer." Every other patch available for Windows only was already installed up to this date.

Hi corhsin -

Do you happen to have a Kodak printer?

Re: KB3000850 install rollback, Error 80246013, tried WinUpdt Reset & Secure Boot Off

Thank you. I understand you may have already done this but I need you to do again so I can get a very current log. Please do the following.

Step#1 - SFC Scan
1. Right-click on the Start
w8start.png
button and select Command Prompt (Admin)
2. When command prompt opens, Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Right-click > Paste) the following command into it, then press Enter
sfc /scannow

3. Once it finishes (even if you get an error), copy and paste the following into the command-prompt window and press Enter.
copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"

4. Once this has completed please go to your Desktop and you will find CBS.txt => Please upload CBS.txt to this thread

Please Note:: if the file is too big to upload to your next post please upload via a service such as Dropbox or One Drive or SendSpace and just provide the link.

Re: KB3000850 install rollback, Error 80246013, tried WinUpdt Reset & Secure Boot Off

Thank you. Please do the following which will help us narrow down what path is being looked for.

Code:
2015-06-03 21:20:33, Error [0x018016] CSI 000001e4 (F) Failed execution of queue item Installer: LodCtrDat Installer ({9a3dcb9b-a796-41df-b455-77eba6a1ec1a}) with HRESULT HRESULT_FROM_WIN32(ERROR_PATH_NOT_FOUND). Failure will be ignored: The failure was encountered during rollback; installer is reliable (2)[gle=0x80004005]

Step#1 - Capture Process Monitor Trace
1. Download and run Process Monitor. Leave this running while you perform the next steps.
2. Open an elevated Command Prompt and run Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth just like you have in the past.
3. Stop Process Monitor as soon as DISM fails. You can simply do this by clicking the magnifying glass on the toolbar as shown below.

4. Select the File menu...Save... and save the file to your desktop. This is likely the default location. The name (unless changed) will be LogFile.PML. This is fine.
5. Zip up and attach the LogFile.PML file as well as your CBS.log.

The DISM error this time was 800f0906. The log is 1.92GB. Which filters can I apply? No SUCCESSes is 318MB.

Re: KB3000850 install rollback, Error 80246013, tried WinUpdt Reset & Secure Boot Off

Thank you. Please do the following. I didn't get everything I needed from those logs.

Step#1 - Capture Process Monitor Trace
1. Download KB3000850 and save to your desktop. I'd like to use this downloaded file.
2. Run Process Monitor. Leave this running while you perform the next steps. Try not to set any filters. Just clear them.
3. Attempt to install this file that you downloaded and stop the process monitor trace as soon as it fails.

4. Select the File menu...Save... and save the file to your desktop. This is likely the default location. The name (unless changed) will be LogFile.PML. This is fine.
5. Zip up and attach the LogFile.PML file as well as your CBS.log.

Don't forget your CBS log. I can't do anything without that. If we wait too long we will have to do it over. Thanks.

Here is a cbs. Apologies it took this long, let me know if you need a new PM log. Thank you.
