KB3000850 failing to install windows 8.1

I am running windows 8.1 on a laptop
I have tried sfc and DISM as well, they found no error
I also used the troubleshoot tools of microsoft, it said all error were fixed
but then when I download the standalone install package, it still wont work

can anyone help?

Is there any particular error code when the installation fails?
