Is there some way to save the audio only of a YouTube video?

The title says it all. There are several lectures on YouTube that I want to listen to, but I only care about the audio. Is there a way to download the audio only as an MP3 file? Then I could listen to them in the car on my way to work. I would be willing to pay for such a product if it exists.

I don't see how you can "download" only the audio. The audio will be embedded in the file along with the video. But it seems you could download the whole thing, then - depending on your sound card (likely integrated with your motherboard or graphics card) record the sound from there.

I found an app from the Microsoft Store, which can do the job perfectly! It can convert mp4 to mp3, not only using videos stored in the computer, but from Youtube as well.
