I'm very sorry for our delay in responding here. What error code are you getting when you now try to install IE 10 and 11? If they still fail to install after clearing SURT, although there are many legitimate reasons, it may also be your that your was not 100% correct. Can you please list all of the steps you took? Next, can you please zip up and upload your entire CBS folder by following these instructions: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/windows-update/4736-windows-update-forum-posting-instructions.html Attach the files to this website, or to https://www.dropbox.com/ or https://onedrive.live.com/ Please do NOT use Wikisend. I've tried downloading the files you uploaded, and I'm definitely not getting back the correct files. I've removed the links from your post because the content that's now being served isn't suitable for this website. Richard

If you make a mistake, the chance I will be able to repair that is exceptionally low, and your only option will be a complete reinstall. Please just have a little bit of patience and work with me. WARNING: This fix has been created specifically for this user. If you are not this user, do not follow these instructions as you could cause serious harm to your computer. Please download Packs.zip and save this to your Desktop from here: http://niemiro.co.uk/SFCFixScripts/trulymad/Packs.zip Right-click on the file and select Extract All... Tick the box labelled Show extracted files when complete then click Extract A window will open showing two folders, Manifests and Packages Open the Manifests folder and copy the files into the following folder (if there are any files) C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Winsxs\Manifests Open the Packages folder and copy the files into the following folder (if there are any files) C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages Run the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) again When the SURT finishes installing, copy (Ctrl + C) and paste (Ctrl + V) the contents of the SURT log into your next post please: C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log Please also re-test IE10 and let me know. Good luck! Richard Attachments Packs.zip 50 KB · Views: 2 Last edited: May 3, 2014
