If I go to Yahoo Mail and click on an external link in an email, it opens a new tab with the link and then goes back to Yahoo Mail. I am noticing other sites keep looping back to the page I am clicking the links from. This only happens on Windows 7, but not on 10. Thanks!!

What links do you click on and does it matter what kind of email it is, e.g. an email with a link to download software, to verify your email or to see an order you made. What you describe sounds a bit like a download link, but knowing little about the situation I can only speculate.

I clicked on external links in several emails and a new tab opened. IE is slow but eventually the new tab showed the contents of the site in the link I clicked on. So I'm unable to reproduce your issue. I'll fire up my 64 bit Win 7 laptop later and test it.

I tried several times and got no where. I rarely use IE. In fact, the only time I fire it up is to test for others. I'll make a note that Yahoo doesn't support IE so if I see any one else with a problem, I'll tell him/her to use a different browser.

I have used Internet Explorer myself when accessing multiple Yahoo Mail accounts, as when IE Frame Merging is turned off, IE windows are isolated from each other, I finally started using private windows in other browsers to do that. IE is also such a laggard browser, but I have to admit it's a little bit better in Windows 10 verses Windows 7, but I suggest to just stay off of it! Thanks for your responses and help! :)
