Hi, this is a bit of a complicated process so i'll keep it brief. This all started with the latest windows 11 update. My PC booted to an update that was stuck at 30% and i had no option but to interrupt it. The first issue i noticed was when a feature of my graphics card wasn't working in game (DLSS). A subsequent driver update failed and any windows updates resulted in the above error codes, as well as an attempt to fully reinstall windows. I have Performed DISM and Components scanner multiple times, being notified about successful repairs yet i have the same issues. I'm not sure if i have the original files, but I'll attach the latest logs.

Hi @huuo,

Welcome to Sysnative Forums!

If you haven't already, please review the posting instructions here, and attach the requested log files. Without log files, our helpers will not be able to assist, and this will slow down fixing your machine.

If logs have been already been provided, our team of volunteers will analyse the provided log files to build a fix for your system. Please be aware that this may take several days from your initial post, due to the high volume of threads that we receive.

Hi and welcome to Sysnative,

Upload the SCHEMA.DAT file
  • Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\SMI\Store\Machine and copy the SCHEMA.DAT file to your desktop.
  • Right-click on this file on your desktop and select Send To > Compressed (zipped) folder. This will create a file named SCHEMA.ZIP on your desktop.
  • Attach this ZIP-file to your next reply.

Not sure if it's relevant but compressing that file gave me error 0x80070005, however copying it to desktop first and then compressing did the job.

Upload the setupapi.dev.log file

Hi so after replacing the drivers file, my pc refuses to boot, I managed to boot into safe mode but I have no way of sharing the file from safe mode as I'm I don't get access to the internet in safe mode.

I was going to replace the new driver file with the original but my pc no longer even boots in safe mode :/ not sure what I can do. All I have access to is the recovery mode options

apologies for the back and forth but this has been a very confusing process for me. I ultimately decided to factory reset my pc (which has failed in the past) through recovery options. It failed again due to disc space but immediately booted back to normal (not in safe mode). I still have the files and am going to attach them, not sure if i can reliably boot my pc next time. I am going to revert back to the old driver file for now just in case.

About 5GB on my main drive, I was thinking of freeing up space but failing a reset was the only way my pc booted yesterday

That's one of the issues and the corruptions, so I would suggest to free up some more space at least 20/25 GB
