I have recently started encountering problems with installing Windows Updates, specifically a .NET Framework update (KB4562900) and, later, a feature update to Win 10 ver 2004. The error codes are, respectively:
0x80240017
0x800704c7
Searching online, I found that an often recommended solution to these problems is using the sfc /scannow command. After running it, it always reports corruptions were found but unable to be fixed. I'm attaching its log file as CBS.txt.
This has led me to finding SFCFix, which I hoped could solve these problems. However, the program crashed, also reporting that "stage 1 of 6 failed on server". I'm also attaching the SFCFix.txt log, but I doubt it contains any useful information in this case.
With few options left, I've been pointed to this forum. This looks like a really nice place and I can see you guys know what you're doing. If you could spare the time and help me with these issues, I'd be very grateful.
