Hello again.

I have the same issue with the same server that you have dealt with previously.
I have run the components scanner and zipped the CBS folder.

The components scanner shows missing files and reg keys pertaining to language packs.

I did try to update this server using an alternative method and it said that there were additional downloads that needed to be completed.

Hi,

Please provide a new copy of the CBS logs, the WeTransfer link is expired.
 
Upload your COMPONENTS hive.
  • Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Config and locate the COMPONENTS file.
  • Please copy this file to your desktop.
  • Note: If you receive an error that this file is in-use, simply reboot your computer and try again.
  • Right-click on this file on your desktop and select Send To > Compressed (zipped) folder. This will create a file named COMPONENTS.ZIP on your desktop.
  • If the file is too large to upload here, upload the file to www.wetransfer.com and post the link in your next reply.

In such cases we'll need to replace a number of components. And the ComponentsScanner log shows also several issues...

Different 8007005 error this time. The update tried for an age though, so I think we're getting somewhere.

I've tried both Windows update and the update catalogue.
The server has also been rebooted in between attempts.
