If you've ever been in an earthquake, you know what a completely disturbing feeling it is to have the Earth move. Generally they are random and unexpected. I can't imagine having them happen at that frequency. At least they know why and that they will keep coming

I experienced an Earthquake in Palm Springs, CA, in either 2007 or 2009. I was standing up in the living room and heard a very loud sound that I'd never heard before. I then began to lose my balance and started to say something to my step-brother who cut me off saying "Sit down, John, it's just an Earthquake"!

I'll take a hurricane over an Earthquake any time.
