I couldn't find it in BIOS settings. I am using Windows 10-64 bit (1903 version) The device manager doesn't list any system beep option either that I can switch on or off. I tried the registry method given on the following link. How to disable System Beep in Windows 10/8/7 I set the value to no from yes of this beep key located at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Sound. Still no resolution. The command prompt method doesn't work either. Please help.

As you have already been told, this likely has nothing to do with the operating system as this is a hardware level event. On a PC, for example, system beeps are heard through the "system" speaker (if the computer has one) like one of these System Speakers, and not through the normal computer speakers (or headphones). This is why changing settings in the Registry or via the command prompt would have no effect. If you don't see any setting for this in the BIOS setup menu (check our manual carefully), here are some links to check out. Thanks for posting the solution. This beeping was driving me mad. I even did an RMA. I saw many people online complaining about it. You can mute the real teck Audio Manager and it only silences the Acer beeps it doesn't affect music etc. Works on Windows 11 as well as 10.
