So you’ve finally got your copy of the Windows 8 Release Preview installed on your PC, but the crazy fast startup times for the new OS are lost on you because you’re constantly interrupted at startup to enter your logon password or pin.
If you’re a user like me, then you probably want your PC to boot straight to the Start screen without being prompted for your Microsoft Account password.
This is a quick guide on how to make Windows 8 automatically log you in without having to enter your password each time.
Note: If you use a public computer, I’d advise not removing your password for access, especially if you store personal or confidential information.
