LOL - A constant battle for sure - especially when much of that false information is fueled by personal biases and mostly (but not always) unwarranted distrust - then amplified and repeated over and over again by attention seeking bloggers and wannabe journalists in the IT press who simply parrot the falsehoods without verifying their facts. :(
