Apologies for not sending this up first. LOL

I am a 51-yr-old computer tech who's been working on computers since 1979; I had (and still hold) chip-level repair skills, which aren't exactly usable in today's age of "Let's replace the entire board despite a single chip being burnt"... :sigh:

My first machine was an Apple ][+ with 64K (yes...64k) of RAM; I also had the expansion card that added more RAM (I think another 64k? Not sure. Been over 20 years...) and another card that added a Z80 CPU to the mix. That was a fun machine.

While most of my business stems from Windows, I will admit that I truly despise Microsoft's OSes, partly due to Microsoft's own tech "support". Even a retail copy of Windows doesn't assure good support from Microsoft. Have used every version since 3.0. Not that other OS choices don't have their downsides, mind.

Came to this forum to research a couple of issues, and I found quickly that others are also experiencing similar issues, although (I expect) not quite as bad. Sure wish I knew where some of those missing DLL files are downloadable from. LOL

Hello and welcome to Sysnative :welcome:
I wish I was as good with hardware as you are, I barely like to open my case.
