Here's a poll and a question for everyone.

In a certain light, wouldn't nuclear war be exciting?

So I visit a site that asks questions that usually bring up events or topics that couples will encounter through their relationship with each other. Well, now I've been presented a question that maybe I'm not seeing all the sides to and I would like input from everyone here.

As for my answer to the poll, I chose it because I don't see the good in nuclear warfare, all I see is death.

So with all that being said I present you the poll.

P.s. I'm always up for a friendly debate, but for the sake of the thread and Sysnative, I wouldn't want this thread to be be closed because of an uncivil argument. Please keep this peaceful :)

Your's Truly, Anthony.

If you mean by the dictionary definition of the word (causing interest or eagerness), then yes, it'd be exciting. In reality, especially if one assumes the nuclear war would bring about mass death and destruction of major population and military centers (of which I happen to live near each, making that doubly horrible), it would also be depressing as me and my family would be highly likely to die from either a blast or fallout.

Thank you for your input cluberti. I've been seeing a lot of people say yes on the site which got me wondering, "Am I only seeing this from one side? Am I missing something that others see?" I don't think I should change my answer or change how I feel about the subject because even with domesticated or peace nuclear uses in things like nuclear power plants and some medical uses can go extremely wrong or bad.

Hence, why I brought the topic here, to talk to others and learn about their thoughts. I mean you did say you are near a target area and you'd either no longer exist because of the blast or because of fallout would make your life miserable if you did survive.

P.s. I do understand that surviving fallout is extremely rare, but you never know.
