Help I think Windows 8.1 update killed my VAIO Control Center settings

So ever since an update I did around last week, my Vaio Control Center settings stopped working, my keyboard backlight won't turn off and when I charge the laptop, the Vaio charging limitter won't work, after doing SFC /scannow it said that it found some corrupt stuff and something about cbs thingy what do I do? I ytried restoring before update didnt help, then I did the stupidest thing I imported registry from a year ago..... Nothing helps and Windows Update shows updates but after installing it keeps pooping back up....

I worry that importing the Registry from a year ago may cause some significant, irreversible problems.
